Questions
Before you install
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. Toolkit runs on any WordPress site. Modules that need WooCommerce show “Requires WooCommerce” and switch on when it’s active. The Store Locator works with or without it.
Will it slow my site down?
Modules you haven’t switched on load nothing. The ones you use only load their scripts on the pages that need them, and Toolkit works with your page cache instead of replacing it.
What happens if my Pro license lapses?
Free modules keep working. Pro modules pause, and their settings are kept, so everything comes back as it was when you renew.
Can I use it on client sites?
Yes. The Agency plan covers unlimited sites, so one license covers every client store you manage.
Is it open source?
Yes. BYLT Toolkit is licensed under the GPL, like WordPress itself.
